Trapped in her cell, Rosamund is hellbent on escaping her fate while the Man who kidnapped her struggles with the consequences of what grief can do, and how far he will go to escape it. Can they live with themselves? Or, more importantly, who else is living with them? A horror/thriller that follows two artists over the course of a year in their seemingly pointless pursuit of creation while suffering under great grief.

PARKER DAVIS GRAY
Parker Davis Gray is a Dallas based Actor, Teaching Artist, and Playwright.
His premiere play, Incarnate, received a reading at Undermain Theatre for their Whither Goest Thou America Festival in 2022. He was chosen as one of the inaugural playwrights for the Digital Development Project in 2023 for his play How to Lose a Sleep Paralysis Demon in 10 Days, and again for their program of The Match for his play We Once Were Men But Now Are Trees. Parker’s stage acting credits include work at Dallas Theater Center, Casa Mañana, Amphibian Stage, Theatre Three, Circle Theatre, Kitchen Dog Theater, Stage West, Undermain Theatre, Shakespeare Dallas, WaterTower Theatre, Lyric Stage, Theatre Arlington, Shakespeare in the Bar, and Second Thought Theatre where he currently serves as the Executive Director. Parker’s voice can be heard in various shows with Crunchyroll, and can be seen in several films, including the Dallas-made horror film The Finale. BFA in Acting from SMU. JENNA BURNETT
As an avid horror fan, receiving The Invitation to direct the first full stage production of Incarnate brought a huge Smile to Jenna’s face.
It Follows her direction of the play’s first staged reading, as part of Undermain Theatre’s 2022 Whither Goest Thou America Festival. Her most recent directing credit was Wink by Jen Silverman, which Second Thought audiences likely Saw in Midsommar 2024; The Others include I Wanna F*cking Tear You Apart and Church & State at Stage West, and a (Salem’s) Lot of solo performances and staged readings (oof, that one was a bit of a stretch). Previous assistant directing credits include Hir at Stage West, The Moors at Theatre Three, Shakey Jake + Alice and The Droll at Undermain, Hillary & Clinton at Second Thought, and Stagger Lee at Dallas Theater Center. Jenna also practices The Craft of storytelling in her role as a Producer at Spoke Media, where she’s worked on such podcasts as Under Cover of Knight (Apple), On Set With (HGTV/Max), and The Grand Scheme: Snatching Sinatra (Wondery), among many others.
She is passionate about creating art in both mediums that simultaneously honors and confronts the complexity of being human. These days, Jenna’s time is Split between her artistic home of DFW and a Sleepy Hollow in her husband’s native Newfoundland.
