Event #1: The First Read

The first event will consist of a public reading of the first draft of the script. Online audiences will learn what is working in the new play and what questions are still left unanswered.

Event #2: The Deep Dive
Thursday, January 28, 2021
In event number two, audiences will attend a live full working rehearsal. They will experience in real time a working rehearsal and learn more about the process of creating new plays in the rehearsal room.  Often, these rehearsals are closed to the public but, for at least one night, STT invites the DFW community  to be a part of the creative process.

Event #3: The Play Debut
Friday, February 19, 2021
The final event, a performance of a portion of the final play, will be presented at STT’s annual gala fundraiser, Second Thought State of Mind.  This third event will be a celebration of the artists’ hard work to bring something to life during the STEP experience.
