PLAY SYNOPSIS

A couple moves back in together. They fall apart.

Their pet birds move into separate cages. They fall in love.

Pecking, nesting, and mating ensue.

ROLES AVAILABLE

SHE/SWEETPEA: Female – 20s/30s

HE/BUDDY: Male – 20s/30s

The actor playing SHE also plays SWEETPEA.

The actor playing HE also plays BUDDY.

They are not roleplaying as birds, they just also play the birds.

SWEETPEA and BUDDY are not caricatures of birds.

Avoid pecking or fake beaks — they are simply pure bird essence.

All Freudian id, guileless, they say exactly what they mean from moment-to-moment, with a 3-4 second refresh or rebound
