- Erik Archilla | read bio
- Erik Archilla (Festival Producer) is proud to be an ensemble member of Second Thought since it's founding. Erik graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. His Second Thought credits include: Silvio in PVT. Wars; Steven in The Line; Charlie in Summer Everning in Des Moines; and Phillip in Orphans. Some of his other credits are: Tiny Tim in Mrs. Bob Cratchett's Wild Christmas Binge, Richardson Theatre Center; Linus in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Theatre Three; and Dromio of Syracuse in Comedy of Errors, Dallas Shakespeare Festival. Erik currently teaches at the Richardson High School Theatre Magnet, and at Dallas Children's Theatre. Erik is also a member of White Rock Pollution, a sketch comedy and improve troupe that performs at the Bath House Cultural Center. He has done voice over work for Funimation, OcraTron 5000, and commercial radio. Erik is represented by Kim Dawson Agency.

- Stew Awalt (Business Manager, Co-Artistic Director) is a DFW native. Stew graduated from Baylor University in 2005 with a BFA in Theatre Arts Design. He has been stage managing professionally in Dallas since 2004, working for such companies as Shakespeare Dallas, Kitchen Dog Theater, and Underman Theater, and of course- Second Thought Theatre. Stew is proud to have been able to call STT his home since its inaugural Anton in Show Business in 2004, stage managing for the infant company. Since then, Stew has stage managed and executed several scenic and audio designs for productions such as The Glory of Living, the Caucasian Chalk Circle and Lobby Hero. In 2006, Stew joined the Executive Ensemble as Production Manager. Stew is very excited to fill the role of Business Manager and to continue making art with the newest incarnation of STT's Executive Ensemble. When he grows up, Stew would like to be a caterpillar or a fire truck.

- Barbara Bouman | read bio
- Barbara Bouman, originally from San Diego, California, graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a BFA in Performance. While at Baylor, Barbara performed as Fanny in On the Verge; Directed Hotline; Stage Managed How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Hamlet and The Difficulty of Crossing the Field and much more. Barbara has worked professionally as the Associate Managing Director of Waco Civic Theatre, Company Manager for Porthouse Theatre Company in Kent, Ohio and the Theatre in Old Town in San Diego. From 2000 until 2004, she was the Assistant General Manager and Company Manager for Dallas Theater Center. Barbara, after workingin sales at the legendary Gilley's Dallas, now finds herself at House of Blues.

- Jason is a graduate of the Texas State University Theatre Department - with a BFA in Directing. As Director / Assistant Director, Jason worked on several shows with Plano Repertory Theatre including Amadeus, The Underpants, and Aladdin. For STT Jason recently directed Pvt. Wars that was featured in the Out of the Loop Festival. As a Lighting Designer, Jason has worked all over town, designing productions for Second Thought Theatre, Contemporary Theatre of Dallas, Uptown Players, Watertower Theatre, and Plano Repertory Theatre, Repertory Company Theatre, and Garland Civic Theatre. Jason's local acting credits include The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at Dallas Contemporary Theatre, and Cinderella at Plano Repertory Theatre. Jason has also been seen in many plays across Texas and the southwest. Some of his favorite roles were Horatio in Hamlet, the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz, and Motel in Fiddler on the Roof. Jason has also been involved in the construction side of things working as the Scene Shop Foreman at Watertower Theatre for 2 seasons, and as a freelance artist, Jason has built sets for live theatre, corporate events, and TV / film. "I'm excited about the future of theatre in Dallas, and more importantly, the future of Second Thought Theatre. - Jenny Ledel has performed as Lisabette in Anton in Showbusiness and Lisa in The Glory of Living (DFW Critics Forum Award) for Second Thought Theatre. New York Theater credits include Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing at The Loft Theatre, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing at Hudson Warehouse, Sue in Emily (Staged Reading) at The Public Theater, and Diana/Daughter in Pericles (Staged Reading) at Blackpaw Theater Company. Regional Theater credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Daisy Bradford 3, MacBeth, and Beauty and the Beast, at Texas Shakespeare Festival. Abigail in The Crucible and Una in Blackbird, both at WaterTower Theater. Her Shakespeare Dallas credits include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Miranda in The Tempest, Phebe in As You Like It. Jenny's film credits include Red Shirt and Karma Police. Jenny has appeared in Commercial/Industrial work for Radio Shack, Bennigans Sport, Shakespeare Dallas, URTA, Bank of America, AT&T, and JCPenney. She has also appeared in the television series One Tree Hill. Jenny currently resides in New York City.

- Greg MacPherson has been a member of Second Thought's ensemble since its inception in 2003. In that time he served two seasons on the Executive Ensemble, was assistant director for The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and originated the role of Stan in the World Premier of Apathy and Angst in Amsterdam by Second Thought Resident Playwright, Steven Walters. Greg is also the webmaster and graphic designer for Second Thought. In 2004 he co-produced singleTree theatre's inaugural production Rites of Relationship at WaterTower Theatre's annual Out-of-the-Loop Festival. Dallas area acting credits include performances in Charlotte 's Web, Stuart Little, and Babe at Plano Repertory Theatre. From 2003-2008 Greg held the position of Performing Arts and Marketing Director for The Classics Theatre & Art for Children in Plano managing a six show Family Theatre Series composed of nationally touring children's productions. Currently Greg works for the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs where he has the pleasure of overseeing the annual audience development initiative Free Night of Theater. Greg graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Business Administration from Baylor University in 2002.

- Meridith is pleased to be apart of Second Thought Theatre's talented ensemble. With STT, she has been seen in Anton in Show Business and King Ubu. Other area theatre credits include, Richardson Theatre Centre, Dallas Children's Theatre, Irving Community Theatre, Repertory Company Theatre, Pocket Sandwich Theatre, and Theatre Brookhaven. This fall Meridith can be seen on stage in Plano Repertory Theatre's production of Nine. Startimg January 2006, Meridith will be Richardson Theatre Center's new on-staff Costume Designer. Costuming credits include, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Richardson Theatre Centre; Orphans, Second Thought Theatre; Smoking Newports and Eating French Fries, Off-off Broadway Collective Unconscious Theatre, New York. Meridith studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts/ New York.

- Anastasia is a new producing partner in the executive ensemble of Second Thought Theatre. She attended the University of Alabama, received a BA in Theatre Arts, and has returned to the home to Dallas. Local acting credits include Eurydice (Eurydice) and Analiese (The Snow Queen) with Undermain Theatre; Topeka and Vladimir (Coppertone II: The Pope of Chilitown) with The Ochre House; Kate Keller (The Miracle Worker), Maya and Uyuylala (The Neverending Story), Dr. Aleasha Kibble (Pinkerton!!!) with the Dallas Children's Theater, Lucrece (Lucrece) with Vox Effect; Feste (Twelfth Night) with Theatre Fusion; Deirdre (I Hate Hamlet) with Labyrinth Theater; Babette ([sic]) at the Out of the Loop Festival 2009; Venus and Thoth (The Secret War) with Firebomb Productions; Elsie (Dreams of the Washer King), Tessie (Seamless), Hanna (Skin in Flames) with Kitchen Dog Theater's New Works Festival; Lavinia (Titus Andronicus) and Lucy (The Rivals) with Shakespeare Dallas Unplugged. She also lends her vocal skills at FUNimation studios. - Tom Parr IV | read bio
- Tom graduated from Baylor in 2000 with a BFA in Theatre Performance. His directing credits with Second Thought Theatre include Pluck the Day, Anton in Show Business, Bobby Gould in Hell, and this year's Wonder of the World and History of the World. Tom has also directed Tape (Boaz Unlocked), Central Park West, Jake's Women, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Baylor Druid Production). He has performed as an actor most recently in Hypochondriac (CAC), Earth and Sky and King Ubu (STT) Tom's expertise spans from technical direction (Dallas Children's Theatre tour) to stage management (Philadelphia's American Family Theatre) to assistant direction (Undermain Theatre), to visual effects and film (Disney Pictures and In-Sync, Inc.) He can be seen regularly every Saturday night at the West End Comedy Theatre performing with the Second Thought Dramatics' sketch/improvisation show. Tom is a teacher at Lee Middle School in Grand Prairie, TX.

- Allison is a recent Chicago transplant from the grand old state of Texas, drawn to the comedy capitol by the notable lure of Second City's famed conservatory program. She graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in theatrical performance in 2004 before moving to Dallas to begin her career. There Allison spent the majority of her time helping to found and foster Second Thought Theatre, serving on the Executive Ensemble in a variety of roles for over four years. Her favorite roles include Lisa in Debbie Does Dallas, The Musical (Kitchen Dog Theatre); Lisa in Collected Stories (Second Thought Theatre); and a variety of roles in Almost, Maine, none of whom were named Lisa (Water Tower Theatre). Allison can also be seen in Sordid Lives; the Series on the LOGO network and a variety of television commercials. She is represented by Stewart Talent.

- Drew (Production Manager, Executive Ensemble) is so excited about his role as a Producing Partner and member of the Executive Ensemble for Second Thought Theatre. He has been acting and working with the company since his return to Dallas in 2007. Past roles onstage with STT include Mairtin Hanlon in A Skull in Connemara, Jeff in Lobby Hero, and Dorilant in The Country Wife. Other Dallas credits include Warren in This Is Our Youth (Upstart Productions), Peter Simple in The Merry Wives of Windsor, TX (Shakespeare Dallas), PFC Evan Davis in Defiance (Theatre Three), Van in Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (Inevitable Theatre Company) and various roles in The Secret War (Firebomb Productions). He has also been fortunate enough to work with The Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York and Queen Mary University in London. When not acting, Drew is a freelance Welder, Carpenter and Properties Artisan. He has designed props for multiple Second Thought shows including Collected Stories, A Skull in Connemara, and Some Girl(s). He was also the Technical Director and Master Carpenter for Some Girl(s). Other Dallas freelance companies include Shakespeare Dallas, The Dallas Children's Theatre, GPO Theatrical, Contemporary Theatre Dallas, Richardson Community Theatre, Wingspan Theatre Company, Junior Players, and The Ochre House. - Travis Watson | read bio
- Travis has been with zeroLUX llc, an architectural lighting design firm in New York City, since September of 2006. He is a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City attaining his MFA in Lighting Design. Prior to that, Travis worked for several years as a Project Manager out of Houston, Texas for a theatrical systems subcontractor installing permanent rigging and lighting systems. While there, he worked on many projects ranging in sizes from Lakewood Church - Houston, Texas to the Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan Resorts and Conference Centers - Grapevine, Texas. Travis is also a Resident Designer for the not-for-profit Second Thought Theatre Company in Dallas, TX, where he has designed several productions and continues to consult. Travis is also an experienced percussion clinician, performer, and designer and has been a member of several World Championship organizations while continuing to teach for many high school programs. The application of musical knowledge with an in-depth attention to detail and nuance helps Travis brings a unique aesthetic perspective to a project, looking to highlight harmony and dissonance present in every project. He holds a BFA in Theatre Design from Baylor University and is a student member of the Illuminating Engineer Society of North America and International Association of Lighting Designers.

- Jocelyn received her BFA in Theatre Directing from Abilene Christian University in 2003. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from ACU in 2005. While at ACU, she directed Two Rooms by Lee Blessing, Anatomy of Gray by Jim Leonard, Jr. and other studio credits. She served as the Director of Creative Dramatics for the Abilene Performing Arts Company for three years. Jocelyn's work has been seen in Dallas as a director (Collected Stories at STT), an assistant director (the world premiere of The Good Negro by Tracey Scott Wilson at Dallas Theater Center, Edmond at STT, and All's Well That Ends Well at Shakespeare Dallas), and a stage manager (Scapino at STT and Hot Georgia Sunday staged reading at Dallas Theater Center). Jocelyn has been the Manager of Institutional Giving at Dallas Theater Center since August 2006.
